Esther Gan

Esther graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2009.  Esther has worked exclusively with children with mild to severe disabilities for the past 12 years.  Having worked at a special school for children with physical disabilities for many years, she has developed a holistic approach to supporting a child with a disability and the importance of making therapy fun, individualised and motivating.  

 

Esther has comprehensive experience with a wide variety of adaptive equipment including manual and power wheelchairs, walkers and standing frames.  She has a special interest in hydrotherapy, power wheelchair training and Bobath approach.  

 

Esther has travelled extensively, including a 12-month trip to South and Central America in 2014.  She loves meeting new people and building relationships.  She endeavours to share her positive energy and compassionate nature with children and their families.

 

In her spare time, Esther enjoys spending time with her young daughter, making handmade pottery for family and friends and yoga.
