After graduating from a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2011, Claire has been working exclusively in Paediatrics in both Victoria and London for the past 9 years. This international experience, including The Portland Hospital for Women and Children in London, has given Claire a broad range of skills in paediatric physiotherapy to assess and treat infants and children of all ages and abilities.
Claire has had the opportunity to work within large multidisciplinary teams, and has a great understanding of a holistic approach for assessing, treating and understanding children. She has completed specialist training in gait analysis and orthotic prescription and loves working with children, their families and their orthotists to achieve the best functional outcomes.
In addition to her physiotherapy studies, Claire has played a lot of sport and coached basketball teams, and this sporting experience has given her further skills around activities and games for children of all ages. Claire has also completed training in Clinical Pilates, which has given her even more ideas for helping children and adolescents exercise well to reduce their pain, move better and perform at their best. Claire is very enthusiastic and passionate about providing children with opportunities to be the best they can be.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys exploring the numerous bike trails that greater Melbourne and country Victoria has to offer.
